Cardellini scrubs for the ER

SCOOBY-DOO's Velma joins regular cast

SCOOBY-DOO's Linda Cardellini will be putting on her fashionable green coveralls this fall as a member of County General. Cardellini will play Nurse Samantha Taggart on NBC's ER starting in the tenth season's fifth episode. Taggart will also be a "free-spirited single mother" which will undoubtedly lend itself to future character story arcs.

Cardellini's casting news is just the latest addition to ER's roster of talent. Previously it was announced that Parminder Nagra (Keira Knightly's co-star from BEND IT LIKE BECKHAM) will join the regular ER cast while Glenn Howerton (THAT 80'S SHOW) will play a recurring character.
