Jim Carrey and Garry Shandling have signed on to do the principle voices of OVER THE HEDGE, DreamWorks new, major animated effort based on the popular comic strip.
Carrey will be the voice of the troublemaking raccoon R.J, while Shandling will speak up for the more careful, quiet turtle Verne. The big screen version of the strip will center on the pair as they cope with suburban developments taking over their wild lands. It's planned for a 2005 release, and will be a traditionally animated feature.
