Cartoon Network picks up 'World of Quest'

WorldScreen.com reports that the animated version of Jason T. Kruse's graphic novel 'The World of Quest'  has been picked up by Cartoon Network U.K.

The net will broadcast the series in 2009. Developed by Cookie Jar Entertainment from the Komikwerks title, 'World of Quest' follows the exploits of young Prince Nestor who enlists the aid of retired adventurer Quest in an adventure to save the King and Queen.

Cecilia Persson, Cartoon Network’s VP of programming, acquisition and presentation, told Screen World: “We are thrilled to have bought 'World of Quest' which will introduce viewers to an exciting medieval kingdom populated by an array of memorable characters. Cookie Jar is a great innovator of original content and we’re delighted that this series is coming to Cartoon Network.”
