The full cast has been confirmed for Ealing Studios' Oscar Wilde big screen adaptation of Dorian Gray, reports Variety. Rebecca Hall, Ben Chaplin, Emilia Fox, Rachel Hurd-Wood, Fiona Shaw, Maryam D'Abo, Pip Torrens, Douglas Henshall, Caroline Goodall, Michael Culkin, Johnny Harris and newcomer Max Irons, son of Jeremy Irons, have joined the cast. The Oliver Parker-directed film toplines Ben Barnes as Dorian Gray and also stars Colin Firth as Lord Henry Wotton, the aristocrat who corrupts Gray with his worldview. Ealing's Barnaby Thompson produces.
Plot Concept: Based on "The Picture of Dorian Gray," the story centers on Gray, a young man who becomes the subject of a painting. As the man descends into a hedonistic lifestyle, the portrait begins to age and morph, but he doesn't.
The last person to play the character was Stuart Townsend in 2003's The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen.
