A new photo featuring the "Members of Operation" VALKYRIE has appeared online courtesy of The Daily Mail. The cast picture contains Kevin McNally, Christian Berkel, Bill Nighy, Tom Cruise, Terence Stamp, David Schofield and Kenneth Brannagh decked out in their German uniforms planning the assasination of Adolf Hitler. Director Bryan Singer is currently filming the action/thriller for United Artist in Berlin and the film is set for a release next summer.

Plot Summary: Col. Claus von Stauffenberg (Tom Cruise), the German officer who led the heroic attempt to bring down the Nazi regime and end the war by planting a bomb in Hitler's bunker. The "July 20 Plot" on Hitler's life is one of the most heroic but least known episodes of World War Two. Severely wounded in combat, Colonel Claus von Stauffenberg returns from Africa to join the German Resistance and help create Operation Valkyrie, the complex plan that will allow a shadow government to replace Hitler's once he is dead.

VALKYRIE hits theaters everywhere June 27, 2008.

Looks like a good cast, except for the guy that jumps on Oprah's couch. Mr. Gibbs, Davy Jones and the East India Trading Co. guy against Hitler.

I am just curious if they are gonna have Tom Cruise talk in German or German accent. I wonder if he can do it. I think this wil be a good movie. Tom Cruise is a wacko and I am ebarassed to say he is from NJ, but his job is acting and he does a good job of it. So if he wants to put Peanut butter on his dick and have an ant-eater tounge stab his pee-hole, that his business. I could care less what he does in his personal life. Just shut up and make good movies.

Someone give those guys some prunes; they all look a little constipated! I can't wait for this film. I don't really care about Cruise's personal life, just his performance. Singer's put a great cast together and his specialty is ensemble movies, so I have high hopes for this one. Nighy's a wonderful actor (he was terrific in "Love Actually" and HBO's "Girl in the Cafe") and I'm a huge Brannagh fan (he played a great Nazi in HBO's "Conspiracy"). As a WWII buff, I'm excited to see this story on the big screen.

Get over it people, Tom Cruise is not a whacko and he's not something to be embarrassed.

Playing the same old tune of 'TC is stupid, TC is whack, bla bla bla''...that is something to be embarassed.

The guy made great movies, he's a good actor, that's it. Let it go kids, because he won't be going away and he will keep on making great movies regardless of what you people say.

This movie looks excellent, the sotry looks great, the actors look great, TC looks great, I can't wait to see this movie.

But this childish name calling on someone who is obviously more exentric then usual, come on.

Anyway, sorry but it had to come out.

I wasn't thrilled when I heard about Tom Cruise in this movie, but the more I see the better it's looking.

Those dudes look like they're ready to party! Or maybe they just saw Cruise do that peanut butter/anteater thing and they're all stupified to silence.
I have no problem with Cruise's private life but unfortunately I believe his sister had started handling his P.R. and she let his exuberance for life, his religion,and Katie go unbridled and it was a little overwhelming for the public. I think he's got different people on for publicity so they'll rub his belly and keep him restrained.

Well, i guess I am also embarassed that we are the Garden State. I mean anyone who has been here knows we are nothing but highways and refineries and Ghettos. Oh wait, no I am not becuase anyone who has been here knows its not like that. But, it is sad to say that 3 of the biggest box office stars in the world are from NJ..Willis, Travolta, Cruise....not to mention numerous other actors and actresses. NJ, I guess is just the armpit of the USA. Oh well.
