Casting About: Robbie Coltrane in HELL; Jean Reno in ROLLERBALL

Scottish actor Robbie Coltrane (last seen in The World Is Not Enough, coming out on video and DVD next week) will appear with Johnny Depp, Heather Graham and Nigel Hawthorne in Fox 2000's big screen adaptation of Alan Moore's From Hell comic book series. Albert and Allen Hughes are directing the film based on the Jack the Ripper story.

Reno In Rollerball?

Jean Reno, best known for his roles in Godzilla and Mission: Impossible, is in final talks with MGM to star as the villain in director John McTiernan's remake of Rollerball. If he signs on, Reno will join Chris Klein and LL Cool J in the near-future story about the world's most popular--and violent--spectator sport.
