Why doesn't Eddie just play her himself?

After reading the first two lines I thought he was doing a biopic about himself.

Yeap, this is about Eddie alright...just like Mrs. Doubtfire was, and is, about Robin Williams!!!

That said, I still would love to see Eddie Murphy play all the parts in a Smurfs live action movie...that would be as funny as hell just to see a thousand tiny Eddie Murphy's in light blue paint make-up.

Poppa Smurf anyone???!!!

I think Eddie needs to get back to his roots and do stand up comedy again because he and his agent have been picking and taking any script that comes his way and they have all been CRAP!...After all of these years he could use and find a shit load of material to do a good stand up show that could hit the road and give him a break that is known as Hollywierd...If he did this and had a hit on his hands and put in the spot lite again he might get offered some decent roles again...
