so... how did such a high quality sitcom like "how I met your mother" not only birth but also survive on CBS?

joeybaloney • Jun 27, 2008, 06:29am •
Wow. I have absolutely no reason to ever tune into CBS.

Well, there is Moonli... oh, wait. Never mind.

Do people actually still watch Survivor? I'm convinced you could put cars rustng on TV and people would watch it.

Best thing about the writers strike, is it gave me areason to tune out much of the network drivel.

I agree with you guys...I'm surprised 60 minutes is still popular with the spike of cable news over the last 5 years. CSI, though I don't watch it, will still be their biggest draw and Survivor, another show I don't watch, probably costs a hell of a lot less to make then what they are pulling in. I never even heard of most of that line up though two and a half men I'm enjoying on weekly reruns. I admit my opinion may be a little one sided as I don't watch a lot of TV but even the other network shows, I've heard of a lot of them which isn't the case with CBS. I will say CBS has given me no reason to tune in this year.

LOL! Joey I thought absolutely the same thing. I just realized I don't watch any show by CBS.
However, there is a reason to tune into CBS and that reason is Kimbo Slice son!!! lol. I don't watch MMA except Kimbo, and he's going to be fighting there from time to time, or so I hear.

Several years ago I was part of a focus group that reviewed the pilot for "How I Met Your Mother" for the studio. I burned it to the ground with my scoring and review of it, so I am with everyone else scratching their heads at how this abortion came to be.

I love me some CSI though......it's like crack. I know it's bad for me but I just can't help it.

Big Bang Theory is the best show on CBS! If you haven't watched it, I highly reccoment catching the reruns or getting the DVD when it drops!

Jericho was my only CBS show, now they suck.

I have seen Big bang theory. Funny but I just never watch it.
