CBS Films Takes on ETERNALS

CBS Films has preemptively bought pitch THE ETERNALS by Chris Hauty. Jeff Wadlow (CRY_WOLF) is attached to direct and Craig Baumgarten will produce.
The story is being described as a romantic supernatural thriller set on a college campus.
Hauty, Wadlow and Baumgarten previously worked together on NEVER BACK DOWN, which centered on a rebellious teen is who lured into an underground fight club, where he finds a mentor in a mixed martial arts veteran.
Hauty will be paid a mid- against high-six figures sum for ETERNALS. The former playwright also wrote BEAUTIFUL KILLER, which Jessica Alba is attached to.
Besides CRY_WOLF, Wadlow also directed CATCHING KRINGLE and THE TOWER OF BABBLE. He is attached to direct HAIL TO THE THIEF.
Craig Baumgarten has served as producer on PETER PAN, THE ORDER, UNIVERSAL SOLDIER and HOOK (co-producer).
