Move over Jerry Bruckheimer, you're not the only high profile action producer on CBS now. MATRIX producer Joel Silver is developing a new TV series created by LETHAL WEAPON screenwriter Shane Black and Anthony Bagarozzi, Black's co-writer on his most recent script LA PI. The show is called NICE GUYS.
Silver is partnering with Thomas Schlamme, one of the producers of THE WEST WING, in bringing the show to CBS. Right now the network has just a commitment for a pilot episode.
NICE GUYS is being described as a reinvention of the private eye, whatever that may mean. Stay tuned for more details as they emerge.
