Warner Bros. has grabbed the rights of an untitled pitch for a fantasy set in Central Park, reports Variety. Bryan Schulz and Neil Uliano will write the script. Dan Lin will produce through his WB-based Lin Pictures, and Jon Silk will co-produce. The idea for the fantasy was developed by WB's Jon Berg. WB and Lin have already laid the groundwork for the project by aligning with the Central Park Conservancy, which cares for the park.

Plot Concept: The story follows two brothers who, while visiting their grandfather in New York, meet a man who shows them a mystical realm in Central Park that is in danger.

I thought I heard someone else in the theater. I wasn't hearing things.

And being a NYer, I can tell you with no doubt that Central Park is full of fairies and other mystical creatures, crackheads, crazy homeless, and little goblins.

They should make a movie about the hobos in Central Park, that would be great.

Agreed pony. NY is my favorite city to visit and having seen with my own eyes what exists in CP, the movie would be just another big budget documentary.
