You noticed that too, Shaolinronin. Still, one of the better shows on TV. and Chloe still rocks!!!

Still no asians in the casting... Hopefully the movie they're talking about will deal with that I suppose.

chirop1... i don't watch television shows at all as they're being aired (i'll catch a show on DVD, if it interests me) so i don't notice if one ethnic group is or is not getting represented across the medium at all(with positive or negative stereotyping) but then again, I don't watch a show because it has a certain ethnic cast... I watch the show because it's good and it entertains me. So my question to you is this... in order for you to not bitch about any movie or t.v. show, must it contain one person of the Asian persuasion in at least a minor role? oh wait, you'd probably complain about that too so let's change the question to reflect a major role. i apologize if i seem indifferent but your comment seems ridiculous. it sounds like you're a fan of the show because you mention hopes for the movie so if you're a fan of the show it shouldn't matter if Asian people are represented or not. This is entertainment not politics. Go with the flow. There are television shows out there with an Asian actor/actress so don't go complaining about 24, one of the better television shows out there... enjoy the show as you seem to do. Relax. It came off as snarking to me, not complaining. I'm Asian and I don't give a crap what racial diversity I see in anything. (It'd be nice if one week can go by without having to make that sort of qualifying statement.)

Well I guess he finally relized he had to actually work to survive! He finally fell off Hilarys coatails!!

I think he made the Asian comment only because at the end of last season Jack was abducted by Asians. So one would assume there would be some casting of Asians for this season.
chirop1 10/11/2006 9:38:13 AM
You know what comes across at ridiculous to me jerwest? Someone admitting they don't watch TV and then making an ass of himself in a post about TV shows. BIG SPOILERS FOLLOW FOR ALL YOU PEOPLE WHO DON'T WATCH TV AND THEN POST IDIOTIC MESSAGES IN A CHAT ROOM At the end of last season, Jack Bauer was kidnapped by the Chinese government and taken to China. Most people assumed that the next season would take place in China... unfortunately, none of the casting announcements have been Asian... therefore no Chinese storyline. They're skipping it entirely. Hoooray for jumping to stupid conclusions!!!
