CHAMBER OF SECRETS tickets go on sale in UK

THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER recently announced that tickets for HARRY POTTER AND THE CHAMBER OF SECRETS went on sale in British cinemas on September 27, more than one month before the film actually opens.

Advanced ticket sales are expected to be high, as the first film, HARRY POTTER AND THE PHILOSOPHER'S STONE (released as HARRY POTTER AND THE SORCERER'S STONE here in the states) had the highest advance ticket sales of any film in Britain.

CHAMBER OF SECRETS follows Harry Potter (Daniel Radcliffe) as he begins his second year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Richard Harris, Maggie Smith, Kenneth Branagh, Robbie Coltrane and John Cleese also star.

CHAMBER OF SECRETS opens Nov. 15.
