CHANCE FORTUNE Contest Winners

Cinescape's latest contest, A giveaway of the first book in a new young adult series titled THE ADVENTURES OF CHANCE FOURTUNE: CHANCE FORTUNE AND THE OUTLAWS, has now ended.

The first in a middle grade series by author Shane Berryhill, CHANCE FORTUNE AND THE OUTLAWS centers around young Tennessee native Josh Blevins, a fourteen-year-old who dreams of becoming a student at the esteemed Burlington Academy for the Superhuman. However, due to his lack of superpowers, his application is rejected. Refusing to accept defeat, Josh, through some dubious connections and little white lies, gains entrance into the academy. Since he does not actually have any superpowers, he does this under the falsified persona of Chance Fortune, his "superpower" being luck. At Burlington Josh meets a kaleidoscope of extraordinary characters some friends, some enemies and ultimately finds himself caught up in a struggle for the fate of the universe.
