Last weekend, The historic Egyptian Theater in Hollywood had a 30th anniversary screening of Return of the Jedi. It was part of Entertainment Weekly’s Cape Town Film Festival. There were three screenings of Return of the Jedi at the exact same location where it premiered. Numerous celebrities and Star Wars alumni were on hand. The Realm Cast captured Mark Hamill’s interview on the historic Egyptian Theater floor. Hamill was quick to discuss Star Wars Episode VII, CGI, and the what “civilians” don’t understand.

Any chance of someone getting a transcript up for this?

I gave up after 3 minutes...can't hardly understand anything in that video.

About a mnute in and I gave up. I agree...a transcript would be nice.

I don't know if it had any impact on the audio, but I turned the HD setting on when the video started and understood what he said just fine.

The Carrie Fisher thing was funny but I have to admit that it irks me that she's asking for a role for her kid.....I understand is her kid but stfu with that noise.

I like that they're making Chewbacca black too in the trilogy

HomestarRunner 5/6/2013 3:00:30 PM

I'm hoping that Carrie Fisher was just joking, but yeah, that would be exceptionally bad form if she wasn't.

Maybe they could bring back Chewbacca's son Lumpy! I'm kidding! Eesh! Tough room.

I actually understood everything that was said, but wow yea very poor audio.  He had me laughing several times.  I really like Mark, seems like a very genuine man.  I'm actually getting excited for this.

Waah  wahh wahhh , sounds more like a Wookie....

SarcasticCaveman 5/6/2013 9:32:49 PM

Yeah, Carrie Fisher asking for a role for her kid is pathetic...anyway, who else wants to see "After Earth"?
