UPDATED Oblivion Official Trailer #2

By Robert T. Trate     February 14, 2013

Here is the second trailer (listed at the bottom) for Joseph Kosinski’s Oblivion. A lot more of the plot is revealed. Warning: afterwards your mind will race putting together how this movie will all end.

Synopsis: Tom Cruise stars in Oblivion, an original and groundbreaking cinematic event from the director of TRON: Legacy and the producer of Rise of the Planet of the Apes. On a spectacular future Earth that has evolved beyond recognition, one man's confrontation with the past will lead him on a journey of redemption and discovery as he battles to save mankind.

Oblivion features Tom Cruise, Olga Kurylenko, Andrea Riseborough, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau and Melissa Leo. The film is directed by Joseph Kosinski (TRON: Legacy).

Oblivion arrives in theaters on April 19th, 2013 but will arrives on IMAX on week earlier on April 12th.

Here is the International Trailer for the film as well (it is not that different).

Looks interesting. But, why does it feel like the elder Tom Cruise seems to be giving more and more perfomances that all seem like the grown up version of his character from "All the Right Moves"?

Wow, that trailer is much better and reveals much more of the story and plot than the first trailer.  Over the past several years I've found it harder and harder to admit to myself that I like any of Tom Cruise's movies.  But as a few of you have said before, he just doesn't make bad movies.  At least not very often.

More plot details emerge.  This movie is moving up my most anticipated charts.  Looking pretty good.

@VT  I see what your saying.  Alot of people rag on Cruise.  You don't have to like the man, but you can't deny the movies and his calibre as an Actor.  He is a solid star.

Looks better and better to me!!

(BTW, the posted trailer is down, but the "International Trailer" is still available on YouTube if you search for it.)

Was excited about this when it was first announced and the trailers get me more excited. Looking forward to this.
