Charles Band Cuts Full Moon Staff

Charlie Band, truly a seminal figure in the world of home video, has cut 40% of his already reduced staff at Full Moon Video and also cut their planned releases by about 30%. In a brief interview in 'Video Business' magazine Band told that, 'The majors are very strong, and people all seem to be looking for 'A' movies. It wasn't too long ago that we were dealing with tens of thousands of retailers. Now, if the three largest retailers don't buy your product, it's impossible to make any money.' Next out for the incredible, shrinking Full Moon is DEMONICUS, a shot-on-video tale of a demonic gladiator risen from the dead, directed by Jay Woelfel.
