Their loss is your gain as we'll award this DVD as our inauguration day stimulus package to help get the economy back on track!

'You're not Elected, Charlie Brown' finds everyone's favorite put-upon grade-schooler considering a run for student body president. Doesn't that sound wonderful? Doesn't that sound exciting? Doesn't that sound impossible??

With Lucy's polling help, good ol' Charlie Brown realizes he doesn't have a chance. So he backs Linus, who runs on a pro-recess, anti-homework platform. Why, he once even shared his peanut butter sandwich with a prospective constituent. Talk about a shoo-in! Unless, of course, Linus talks about a certain Santa-like character who rises out of the pumpkin patch each Halloween, a belief sure to blow his chances with voters.

Join the fun and cast your vote for 'You're Not Elected, Charlie Brown', now on the campaign trail in a sparkling Re-mastered Deluxe Edition with Improved Picture and Audio. has one copy of 'You're Not Elected, Charlie Brown' to give away to one lucky reader!

How do you win? Just post a comment below, discussing how you'd spend a government bailout to get the economy back on track. We'll give everyone a week to jump in then we'll choose one winner at random.

The winner will be announced here on January 27th and notified via private message on the message boards.

I would bail out the porn industry.  They need a "raise" in revenue.

GrimgoreRMW 1/20/2009 5:14:09 AM

I'd send $20,000 to every tax paying American and let them spend it on whatever they want.  People will spend it as fast as they get it and it will go to really jump start the economy.

(Shaking fist atop my dog house)  Curse you! Red W!

Coupons! Lots and lots of various coupons to get items for half price or less ...especially on items people really need.

I, of course, really need a 52" high def LCD TV

Good grief!

I would buy everyone a new couch! So they would have a nice place to sit after standing all day in the bread lines.

Knightsong 1/20/2009 8:01:18 AM

I'd bail out regular people in debt. If they have less debt that means they will reinvest in the economy. Clear people's debts is what I say

svandyke 1/20/2009 8:45:48 AM

Waugh Waugh, Waugh Waugh Waugh Waugh!

liymil 1/20/2009 8:50:06 AM

I would build a mini Cinema for me and my neibors and buy all the movies and equipment from the Circuit City close out sale..

cem1973 1/20/2009 8:53:17 AM

I'd pay off all my bills    that should help the economy

chromiummann 1/20/2009 11:41:40 AM

i'd give the money to my friends and the people who supported my campaign -- just like the government is doing.

svandyke, great teacher, I wouldn't have guessed how to spell that.  That made me laugh hard.
