Charlize is gonna get JINXed

The shoe has finally (and officially) dropped. The Hollywood Reporter is running the story that Charlize Theron is in talks to star in and produce JINX, the film adaptation of Brian Michael Bendis' crime book series. Theron was rumored to be involved with a JINX movie over a month ago but the story never received confirmation until today.

JINX is the name of a female bounty hunter. In Bendis' story Jinx teams up with a man (named Goldfish) on the run from the law so they can both find the whereabouts to a secret cache of $3 million stashed by the mob. Bendis will write the screenplay for the film based on his comic. The project is set up at Universal Pictures.

The Oscar-winning Best Actress is set to star as the animated heroine AEON FLUX in the live action feature film, scheduled to begin shooting July 17 in Berlin.
