"Jeremiah: The LastEmpire" is based on the hit Showtime series Jeremiah, an MGM-financedtelevision series airing on Showtime (in the U.S), adapted for television byHugo award-winning writer/producer J. Michael Straczynski (creator of"Babylon 5," "Crusade") and based on the award-winninggraphic novel series by Belgian comics creator Hermann Huppen."Jeremiah-The Last Empire" continues where the Showtime series leavesoff, expanding the Jeremiah Universe and exploring settings and themes that theseries did not get a chance to.
In addition to writing"Jeremiah: The Last Empire," Andrew Foley is scripting a number oforiginal graphic novels for Platinum Studios, including Age of Kings with artistRussell Hossain, and one for himself, Parting Ways, with artists ScottMooney and Nick Craine ("X-Statix"). He edited the online comicsanthology Remote Views for Unbound Comics, and his paintings have been featuredin galleries across his home province of Alberta, Canada. He currently resideswith his fiancée in Edmonton, Alberta.
