Chiefs Cheering at Arrowhead over Cassel

Oh, bloody hell.

As a long-suffering Chiefs fan since the late '80's, it was disgusting to see a "sea" of Red Jerseys cheering on QB Matt Cassel's injury today. Seriously, it was downright evil and something that I would never have guessed from classy fans in Kansas City, a city which has long suffered in all of their sport teams.

Maybe this latest year is the final straw?

I'm trying to understand how (or why) the fans did what they did in the Baltimore Ravens game this weekend. Where they finally broke?

It's been a few years since our glorious owner went onto that NFL Ownership Booth in the sky and since he moved on, his family has continued to lack in the management department for Chiefs Nation.

Shouldn't the fans be booing them? I'd rather they boo to the right people, not cheer for the wrong reasons.

Jarrod, so glad I came across this group.  Been coming to the site since the late '90s I guess.  Cinescape and all that.  Used to always come to check out the "Development Hell" section.  Huge football fan.  I played from 4th grade through high school.  Could've played in college, but I had some serious health issues.  Ended up going to Va Tech though and met some amazing people and earned my Bachelors.

Anyway, I'm a 49ers fan.  I was born and raised in Richmond, VA, but been a 49ers fan since I was nine.  What the Chiefs fans did with booing Matt Cassell is totally classless.  They should be ashamed of themselves.  I can't even being to understand what was going through their minds.

I don't know if you're familiar with Michael Robinson.  He played QB at one of the high schools in my area (Varina High School) and I played against him.  Even tackled him once.  I was a year ahead of him.  He went on to play QB for Penn State.  He got drafted by my 49ers and now he plays for Seattle.
