A Tarzan movie in the 21st century ? Well if He aint black , I can see Spike Lee with a sign protesting this film . I thought the 1984 movie was ok

I wonder if it will be like Disney's X-games version of Tarzan?

I'd love to see a great live action Tarzan movie again. I'd like it if they made him intelligent like he is in the books instead of the "Me Tarzan, you Jane" type. They tried a more loyal to the books version about 10 years ago starring Casper Van Dien and it didn't go over very well.

Great director in charge so I hope this works.

Best Tarzan movie will the be the Disney toon one.  Best soundtrack for Tarzan movies also.  I would not mind seeing the old Tarzan toon however, I wonder how it holds up?

Greystoke was great!  So far, not really into this version, but I may see it depending on the trailer and hype and all.

No one on this message board knows shit about Tarzan.  At least I actually read, the first two Tarzan novels which could make of great movie.  Naturally, except for the two movies/serials that Burroughs filmed himslef, Hollywood has never gotten Tarzan right.

Monkeyfoot, that's because it had Casper Van Dien.

CaptAmerica, LOL!

Marcd, I have read the first book and got half way through the second. Jane wasn't in it that one so it was losing my interest. I might get back to it at some point. Most of my experience has been in the different movie and TV versions. So from that perspective I know what I'd like to see.
