Christopher Reeve to guest on SMALLVILLE

VARIETY reports that actor Christopher Reeve will guest star in a February episode of the WB SUPERMAN series SMALLVILLE. The paralyzed actor, known for his film roles as the caped superhero, will portray a scientist who helps the teenage Clark Kent (Tom Welling).

Series producer Al Gough said, "When we created the show, Miles and I said the first [SUPERMAN] movie was our gold standard," Gough said. "In the back of our heads, we wanted to get Chris to do the show. We discovered he was a big fan of the show."
