Chung Finds Love in DRAGON BALL Z

Jamie Chung has joined the cast of the live-action adaptation of DRAGON BALL Z, says the Hollywood Reporter. Chung will be playing Chi Chi, the love interest of lead hero Goku (Justin Chatwin) trying to avoid the sinister plans of Piccolo (James Marsters). James Wong is directing the science fiction action-adventure for 20th Century Fox.
Plot Concept: Centers on an adult humanoid alien named Goku (Chatwin) who, after discovering he was sent to Earth to destroy the population, tries to fulfill the wish of his dying grandfather and collect all seven of the world's mystical Dragon Balls to keep them out of the hands of the evil aliens.
DRAGON BALL Z will hit theaters August 15, 2008.
