If there is one thing that is consistent on this boad, it's always people that trash stuff before they see a single piece of footage. I don't think the idea sounds bad, and I'm actually intrigued.
Pointing out the Obvious here, it's funny how almost every comic book film since 'Batman Begins' has the same formula of using a secondary villian in the first movie, and then hinting at the more well known villian in the second film. How about reading the Spiderman comics and try telling a Marvel Story and not copying Christopher Nolan in style and structure.
Newsflash George, you retired the year 'Return of the Jedi' came out. The past 25 years you've been making movies like a guy that doesn't care about working!
I would go so far as to say that from the Comic Fan perspective, more people are looking forward to The Avengers, but the General Public is awaiting Bats part 3. The Dark Knight trascended that comic book audience and had people going to see that film even though they aren't comic book fans.
Personally, I'm looking forward to Nolan's Batman than Wedon's Avengers. I have a feeling that The Avengers is going to slightly dissapoint a lot of people.
Rob you were a perfect 7 for 7 on this list!!! Best article you've written in years!
I think jackwagon said it best I will repeat!
HOLY FRAK!!!!
Hmmmm.....okay it doesn't look like much, but again I trust in Nolan.
If you ever saw 'Gotham Knights' there is on segement where Conroy does Batman/Bruce Wayne and it really doesn't go over good. Conroy's voice on a young Bruce Wayne is a very akward.
Not to be nit-picky, but the Luke/Leia thing is not creepy if you look at in the sense that Leia kisses Luke in that scene clearly to make Han jealous. Looking at the context of the first two movies, she clearly is not interested in Luke, the attraction only goes one-way.

Get ya azz to Marz!!!!
