In response to popular request, CINESCAPE MAGAZINE recently announced the deadlines for this year's Genre Literary Competition have been extended.

"We realize that Holiday crunch time is upon us, so we're happy to announce the special deadline extension," stated Chip Meyers, CEO of CINESCAPE'S parent company, Mania Entertainment. "The new regular entry deadline is January 31st, and the new late deadline is February 28th."

The competition, which follows on the heels of the very successful 2002 Genre Screenplay Competition, is open to all writers of science fiction, fantasy and horror material. The competition is divided into three categories: novels, short stories and comic books.
