Not surprising.  I've heard several of you maniacs approve/disapprove of this rumor, so I suspect reaction will be a mixed bag.  Chalk me up to the don't really care crowd.

I'm more curious to hear Wiseguy's reaction to the rumor of WB asking Chris Nolan to taking point on Justice League and bringing Christian Bale back.  I love, love, LOVE me some Chris Nolan Batman movies, but I gotta admit that I sort of hope those rumors are bunk.  Nolan would do a quality JL film, but I don't think it would go in the direction I'd like to see.  Oh well, back to the X-Men talk!  :)

I'm glad she's on board; it will be very interesting to see how they pull this all together.  I think it will be a very good movie or a steaming pile; no middle ground on this one.

Bale is not going to be back as Batman in JL, they are going to recast.  What I have heard is that  "If Bale is coming back and Goyer is penning, it's news to Warner Bros."  The only definites that I have heard is Z. Snyder and his wife are in as producers; nothing else has been greenlit.  Also, I know someone who saw an early screening of MOS and told me there is no JGL so hopefully they're not going that stupid John Blake route with a new Batman.

NO NOLAN!  He did great with 2 of the 3 Batman movies, but he is not going to give fans the JL movie they want.

i actually dont mind Berry (especially the way she looks) but i really really dont like her as Storm and after the whole " if i dont have a bigger part in X3 then im out f here", i really dont see why she is needed.

Millean- Nolan for JL would not be a good thing IMO

Very happy Berry is now included. If all the major and minor cast members from the X-movies are there it just wouldn't make sense for her not to be there.

All Warners/DC needs is Goyer as their Movie Exec In Charge O Supers. He knows comic. He knows movies. Every successful movie they have had has had him invloved with at least the story.

I know that Berry was pulling a prima donna years ago but frankly, her career isn't in such a great place now.  And really Storm was as important as anybody else.  It was an ensemble movie.

She did an acceptable job in the role and I would rather see her again than have the role recast.

Nolan did a good job with the Batman films but overall they were a little too realistic for my taste.  I preferred the Burton films with their higher fantasy quotient.  And I'd hesitate to see what Nolan would do with a character like Martain Manhunter or some other more comic bookie characters that couldn't be done in a realistic manner without looking stupid.

Very mixed feelings about this.  For X-Men 3, she negotiated to have more screen time for her character.   Berry complained that her character did not get enough screen time in the first 2 X-Men movies.  As a result, the focus of the movie shifted away from Xavier and Magneto and onto Wolverine and Storm.  Don't get me started on how they killed off Xavier and Cyclops.  Totally PO'd about that.

I still wish they had cast Angela Bassett in the role.  She looks a lot more like Storm, IMO, and I think she's a better actress overall.

Let's all imagine for a second that the biggest wish some of us have happens - Marvel and Disney finally get the X-reigns back under their roof and they reboot the X-franchise...I would LOVE to see Danai Gurira (Michone from The Walking Dead) play Storm.  I think she would be perfect.

I think I'm losing hope in ever seeing a good X-Men movie.  I'm interested to see what Singer is going to do because I sort of liked the first 2.  But I dunno.  It's Fox...bleh.

This is one of my top 3 X-Men storylines and I'm praying it doesn't venture too far away from the original storyline. I understand there are new characters and it's a whole different X-universe (as are all of FOX's X-movies), but I hope the base story stays true.

BTW, The Wolverine fan in me was overjoyed to see Cyclops get blown to dust, but suddenly I realized just how wrong that was. I'm not a big fan of Bryan's, but at least he doesn't go around killing main characters for no real reason.

I'll wait and hold judgment after July 18th next Summer.

My dream Storm years before the first movie was Iman. She looks the way the character is usually drawn: tall, and graceful like a, well model. Plus, she is from the same part of Africa. She could have done it when the first movie came out but now she would probably be too old. As beautiful as Berry is she wouldn't have been my choice but she was a rising star at the time, so like casting Jessica Alba as The Invisible Woman in theFF movie (my choice was Julia Stiles) they went with marketing. Now, I'd like her to continue because it just fits for her to be their again with the rest of the original cast.
