Clark Kent Tops List of Smallville Birthdays

Comics2Film would like to wish a Happy Birthday to Smallville star Tom Welling, who is celebrating his twenty-fifth birthday today.  Welling, who portrays the teenaged Clark Kent on the WB series, reportedly turned down the role of Clark twice before finally accepting it.  One can be sure that after almost an entire season on the critically praised show, Welling has plenty to be thankful for on his birthday this year.

Welling's on-screen parents John Schneider and Annette O'Toole both celebrated birthdays earlier this month.  Additionally, Sam Jones III who plays Pete Ross, one of Clark's best friends, will be turning 19 next week on April 29.

Smallville has four more episodes to air before wrapping up its first season.
