Silver age Blue Beetle Ted Kord joins Batman on the January 23rd episode of 'Batman: Brave and the Bold'! Mania.com has a new clip and a flying-scarab full of images from the show!
Cartoon Network has provided Mania.com with two clips from episode, entitled "Fall of the Blue Beetle!," which introduces the classic Blue Beetle Ted Kord (voiced by Wil Wheaton) to the show. The episode airs at 8:00 PM. The network description of the episode follows:
"Fall of the Blue Beetle!" guest stars Star Trek: Next Generation Wil Wheaton as "Ted Kord / Silver Age Blue Beetle" and airs this Friday, January 23 on Cartoon Network at 8:00 PM.
Blue Beetle traces his legacy back to the original Blue Beetle, to learn why the Scarab has chosen him to share in it's powers and become a super hero. The journey leads him to the dangerous Science Island where he battles legions of robots alongside Batman and learns the truth behind Ted Kord's disappearance.

You know I was bummed out when they didn't do an episode with Blue Beetle or Blue Beetle & Booster Gold in Justice League Unlimited,but I'm happy to see him on here.Will Wheaton fits perfectly for Ted Kord too.It's nice to see the 2 inspirations of Nite Owl working side by side too I've always like Blue Beetle.
