Clive Owen joins "The International"

According to Variety, Clive Owen has signed on to star in the upcoming Columbia Pictures film,
The International.
The film, to be directed by Tom Tykwer, is an action-thriller about an Interpol agent who investigates corruption at powerful banking institutions.
Eric Singer wrote the script for the film which is expected to begin filming this September.
