Clooney In SOLARIS Remake?

George Clooney and Steven Soderbergh are said to be looking to reteam again for the helmer's developing SOLARIS remake.
According to Variety, though there is no solid deals for either party's participation in the project, both have confirmed interest and are in talks to get on board.
CUrrent plans for the film are to start shooting in April 2002.
SOLARIS, which was previously filmed in Russia in 1972, tells the story of an astronaut sent on a rescue mission to a remote space station. Upon arriving, he finds the commander dead and two survivors seemingly driven mad by strange voices they hear. Then, the rescuer starts hearing those same voices.
