Fandango has released a new extended trailer for the Wachowski’s Cloud Atlas. By extended I mean it is over 5 minutes long. With the detail and scope of the film I began to wonder just how long Cloud Atlas would be? It has a run time of 172 minutes, making it just shy of 3 hours! Check out the extended trailer below.

The Plot: Cloud Atlas explores how the actions and consequences of individual lives impact one another throughout the past, the present and the future. Action, mystery and romance weave dramatically through the story as one soul is shaped from a killer into Read More

Those guys that walk in on Jim sitting on the crapper demanding money... wonder if they eventually pee on his rug?

Looks great but may be too complex for the simple minded majority out there. Kinda looks and feels like The Fountain.

This could be really good, or Kevin Costner Waterworld bad.

Miner49er, rug-peers did not do this.

I read the book and can't wait for this one.  Lots of good buzz on this one after screenings at Toronto Film Festival and Fantastic Fest.  My most anticipated movie of the fall/winter, just ahead of Django Unchained.

This has flop written all over it.

It's going to be interesting to see how they get all of these stories to work together on the screen.  Sitting at 80% on RT so signs seem to point towards them getting it right.

This film and Life of Pi are my big films for the rest of the year followed by The Hobbit.

I would not be entirely surprised if it flops because most folk that say they want original content are just full of shit

I just can't get excited about this.  Maybe its because the idea behind it upsets me.  I don't like the idea of destiny.  That said it looks well done and the actors are top notch.  I'll rent it for sure, but I won't be rushing out to see it.
