CLOVERFIELD 2 On Hold, 300 Prequel Coming

A 300 prequel... While I loved the visual style of 300, the story was also a big part in making the movie what it was... Not quite sure how they're gonna match that... Of course that doesn't matter, because I'd probably end up seeing it anyway.

And without even seeing Hellboy II, I'm gonna say Hell Yeah to Hellboy III... I loves me some Hellboy.

I could get behind a 300 prequel if Frank Miller is actually writing it and they got back Butler and company if it is focusing on Leonidas.
They showed the Longer Hellboy II trailer last night in front of Wanted and it just looks freaking amazing. I am totally stoked for that. Then they showed the Dark Knight trailer and I just totally forgot about everything. My girl had to shake my hand and bring back to reality.

I would love to see how a 300 prequel would get pulled off... I m there...

I AGREE PONYBOY THAT IF FRANK MILLER IS WRITING IT A PREQUEL WILL BE GOOD BUT I'M REALLY NOT SURE THEY NEED ONE 300 IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE MOVIES AND I WOULD HATE FOR THEM TO SCREW IT UP. IF THEY DID MILLER WOULD BE WRITING A GRAPHIC NOVEL ON HOW A PREDATOR CAME TO HUNT AND KILL HIM.

AND I WOULDN'T MIND SEEING A CLOVERFIELD SEQUEL. I WANT TO KNOW WHERE THE MONSTER CAME FROM. I GOTTA GET SOME INFO FOR THE ELDERS HERE SO WE CAN DO SOME STUDYING AND HUNTING. YEA BABY

They gonna be waitin for a while before they come up with Cloverfield 2, they know that shit no one wants to watch a sequel, maybe PREDATOR cause it has one of his friends in it.

I'm up more Leonidas but Snyder needs to forget about that and get someone to write God of War and do that flick instead with Gerard Butler as Kratos. Nuff said.

If they are making a prequel to 300 I will watch it but they must have someone screaming:

Predator the Cloverfield monster came from space. If you watch the very last part of the movie where the girl and guy are in Coney Island. Look at the right hand side of the screen in the distance you can see a meteor smash into the sea. But I cant wait for Cloverfield 2 to come out. I actually wanted to see a 300 sequel instead of a prequel. I wanted to see it pick off from where it finish right into the battle. OH well, we will see how this turns out. I might be there for it. And Hellboy 3 I am soooooooooo there for that. Ron Pearlman has a character that was made for him. I cant wait for Hellboy 2 to come out.

300 prequel? Penned by Miller? Okay, I'm in, but I'd still rather see God of War. The fact that that hasn't been adapted yet is incomprehensible. In the wake of the success of 300 and Beowulf that's a no brainer. Get Miller and David Jaffe from Sony to work on that together

As for Del Toro and Hellboy 3 as much as I've loved his work, and look forward immensely to Hellboy 2. 4 years is a long time to shelve something, so in all likelihood it will be 6 years before the film is released. Perlman isn't a kid anymore, he's not getting any younger. It would be better for Del Toro to move into a more tertiary role, to allow him to ensure that his vision isn't compromised, but so that we can see the third film before the middle of the next decade. Del Toro can be a creative consultant or a producer, and whoever takes up the directing duties can visit him in Middle Earth twice a month with dailies and set reports. David Goyer would be a good choice to take that on I think. Del Toro is going to be quite busy with the Hobbit and while that's fantastic, I don't want HB to suffer for it.
