The 34th Annual Saturn Awards have come and gone and it seems Frosty over at Collider had a chance to help pin down director Matt Reeves, the man behind the camera of Paramount's Cloverfield. Judging from the interview, any sequel for the monster movie is definitely on hold until they (Reeves and producer J.J Abrams) come up with an idea that is fresh and unique in their eyes. A reporter even asked in the video interview whether they a prequel or a sequel shot by steady cam would work but he wouldn't budge on the issue. Instead, Reeves is moving forward on his project The Invisible Woman. To check out the interview, click here.
In other Saturn news, Frosty also talked to director Zack Snyder, who mentioned that Frank Miller working on a prequel to their smash hit 300 and to director Guillermo del Toro, who said he'd be willing to do a Hellboy III after he wraps up The Hobbit films. But seeing how those two adventures into Middle Earth will take up his next four years, that third installment won't be for a while if he's leading production.
