I don't know about this. The TV series was one of the few that built on an existing movie mythos instead of re-imagining it all together. in my mind the 10 years of Stargate: SG1 is the sequel...hmmmmm

I for one am mildly pleased with this casting. I hated Heath Ledger in A KNight's Tale and The Patriot, but he has done some good character work (The Brother's Grimm for example). This is not MI: III which was horrible from the get go. If the same tone is kept and Ledger can balance the insanity and evil of the Joker it could be very very good indeed.

I am not sure what is worse, hearing about yet another movie about a 70's tv show, or ehearing about one with the original cast coming back. I loved Mork and Mindy (well until the last season) but Robin Williams is not the same Robin Williams. I am not sure how the whole aging backwards thing is supposed to work when Robin is 30 years older now. Oh my god...could it be a prequel? Oh god help me.
