PITCH BLACK co-star dives deep

CAVE is the title of the new science fiction/horror film that's in development at Screen Gems, to star Cole Hauser (2 FAST 2 FURIOUS, PITCH BLACK). Hauser will play the leader of a team of undersea cave explorers that venture into a mysterious cave and get trapped by a sudden cave-in. When help finally reaches them the rescuers discover the divers have inexplicable transformed into primeval beings. (Wasn't this an episode of SPACE: 1999 at one time? Well, without the undersea part.)

CAVE was written by Michael Steinberg and will be directed by Bruce Hunt. Hunt is making his directorial debut on the film after serving as second unit director on the two MATRIX sequels and DARK CITY.
