Remember the days when you would wander the video store and find a film you never heard but recognized two actors in it? You took a chance and every once in a while discovered a gem. I know, usually this wasn’t the case and the film turned out to be a real stinker. The hunt and the chase for these diamonds in the rough still exist inside this old video store clerk. Perhaps The Colony will be one of those films.
The Plot: Forced underground by the next ice age, a struggling outpost of survivors must fight to preserve humanity against a threat even more savage than nature.
The Colony features Laurence Fishburne, Kevin Zegers, Bill Paxton, and is directed by Jeff Renfroe (Sand Serpents)
The Colony arrives April 12th, 2013.
Instead of video stores..its Netflix Streaming...every once in a while you find a gem on Netflix thats pretty decent with known actors. Theres a Red Dawn wannabe thats set in australia thats actually not too bad. The actors and actresses in it actually do a pretty decent job. I think its called Tomorrow When the War Began.
Looks good... However my first thought was that the Inuit people having been living in the feeezing cold for centuries.

So, it looks like a mix of Pandorum and the Reavers from Serenity meets Wall-E meets Reign of Fire.....
Still, Bill Paxton and LFish are cool, I could check this out.
