
Spider-Manis just good for everyone. At least that's what three Columbia Picturesexecutives may think after the studio's banner year at the box office.
Varietyreports that Columbia execs Peter Schlessel, Doug Belgrad and Matt Tolmach haveall gotten promotions following the studio's record-setting year. Schlesseltakes on the mantel of president while Belgrad and Tolmach are co-presidents ofproduction.
The twoco-presidents will be focus on supervising 12 to 15 productions each year. Thereare some interesting titles on both men's slates.
Of specialinterest to comic fans: Tolmach is said to be working on The AmazingSpider-Man, and Ghost Rider. Belgrad is overseeing theBendis/Oeming adaptation Powers.
