COMIC CON: San Diego programming announced

The official website for the San Diego Comic Con International has finally posted the programming schedule for this year's event. Beginning on Thursday, July 22 and running until Sunday, July 25, Comic Con will host hundreds of panels featuring professionals from all areas of genre entertainment. Film stars, comic book writers and artists, television creators, novelists, musicians, animators and DVD producers will all in attendance to talk about their latest efforts. Without a doubt some secrets will be revealed for the first time at Comic Con.

Among some of the more notable panels are: BUFFY series creator Joss Whedon hosting a panel to discuss the SERENITY movie; actress Sarah Michelle Gellar will talk about her new movie THE GRUDGE; actor Keanu Reeves will talk about his work in the horror movie CONSTANTINE; writer/director David Goyer and stars Jessica Biel and Ryan Reynolds will answer questions about BLADE: TRINITY; TRU CALLING star Eliza Dushku will be on hand for a Q&A session; writer Neil Gaiman and artist Dave McKean will discuss their new film MIRRORMASK; BATMAN BEGINS star Cillian Murphy and screenwriter David Goyer discuss the new Bats movie; and cast members from the new BATTLESTAR GALACTICA, STARGATE ATLANTIS and LOST television series will discuss their new shows. There will be previews of many upcoming movies including discussions about the new FANTASTIC FOUR film; THE INCREDIBLES director Brad Bird will talk about his CGI work; and HELLBOY helmer Guillermo del Toro will talk about the upcoming HELLBOY DVD.
