Director Zach Snyder talked a little WATCHMEN at his Comic Con exhibit. The director of 300 says that they are currently constructing the production sets of the film in Vancouver, a lot of those sets are going to resemble NYC. They will also be shooting it in the same visual style as 300 and yet this film will include "sets", not just green/blue screen.
Stephen McHattie (300, History of Violence) will play Hollis Mason in the film while Patrick Wilson will be "aged" a little bit for his performance as Nite Owl. Billy Crudup will be playing the older John while his alter ego, Dr. Manhattan, will be straight 3D CG motion capture. Billy Crudup will not have to wear makeup for his alter ego.
Snyder also says that we shall see the "Comedian", Jeffrey Dean Morgan, spanning 40-50 years of his life from his early days in the Vietnam war to his 60s...
The official website for the movie has now launched as well which will feature a production blog, gallery, etc...
