COMIC CON: Two STARGATE casts, one out of this world panel

MGM Television has announced plans for a special
STARGATE panel at this year's San Diego International Comic Convention. Beginning at 11:30 AM on Saturday, July 24, cast members and key creative personnel from both
STARGATE SG-1 and the new spinoff series
STARGATE ATLANTIS will attend a panel to talk about upcoming storylines and events on the two shows. Confirmed to attend are
STARGATE cast members Michael Shanks (Daniel Jackson), Amanda Tapping (Samantha Carter) and Christopher Judge (Teal'c); joining the cast members will be series creator Brad Wright and executive producer Rob Cooper.
The
SG-1 cast and team will be up first at 11:30 AM. Immediately afterward the team from
STARGATE ATLANTIS will take to the stage, specifically cast members Joe Flanigan (Major John Sheppard), Torri Higginson (Dr. Elizabeth Weir), Rainbow Sun Francks (Leiutenant Aiden Ford), Rachel Luttrell (Teyla Emmagan) and David Hewlett (Dr. Rodney McKay), along with pilot director Martin Woods.
After the
STARGATE panel has concluded, at 3:00 PM that same day, stars of both shows will meet with fans and sign autographs at a designated site at the Con's autograph section.
Then, on Sunday, July 25 at 11:00 AM, stars of Showtime's
DEAD LIKE ME will have its time in the spotlight. Stars Ellen Muth and Callum Blue will attend a panel where they will field questions from the show's fans about the show's new season. The
DEAD LIKE ME stars will also take the time to sign autographs and meet with fans directly after the panel.
This year's San Diego International Comic Convention runs from July 22 to July 25. The event takes place at the Trade and Convention Center located in downtown San Diego, and attracts tens of thousands of fans every year.
