Comic book legend Neil Gaiman (SANDMAN, the novel AMERICAN GODS), has filed a lawsuit against comic legend Todd McFarlane (SPAWN, founder of Image Comics).
The suit, according to what Gaiman's spokesperson told SciFi Wire, centers on Image Comic's unauthorized use of Gaiman's characters Angela, Cogliostro and Medieval Spawn.
The suit also hinges on McFarlane's alleged claim in ownership of MIRACLE MAN, which was created by Gaiman and Alan Moore (WATCHMEN, FROM HELL).
McFarlane's spokesperson did not comment on the allegations at press time. More on this as it comes.
