Comic-Con International - San Diego Comic Com - Viz Media Anime

Shonen Jump Home Video will be launching 12/28/05 with Hikaru no Go.

This release will be bilingual wiht a volume every 3 months with 4 episodes a disc.

The second title from the SJ Home Video line will be Naruto. Individual
DVDs will come out starting March 2006 and will come out every other month,
but these will be edited. Viz will be releasing uncut DVDs in 13 episode
boxsets that will be released starting 7/2006. A price point has not been
determined for DVDs as the acquisition is very new.

The InuYasha 3 movie and Viz's live action Kamikaze Girls will be screened
here in San Diego on Saturday night for those of you in the area.

During the presentation Viz's, presentation disc had a few interesting new

titles on it. Nothing was confirmed but titles like Monkey Turn,

Mar, Grandpa Danger and Crocket were selectable, but
were not presented.

Maison Ikkoku boxes will continue. They confirmed Box 7 will be out mid-next 2006.
