This exclusive look from Comic-Con shows the owl-shaped flying vehicle from the upcoming film Watchmen, based on the Alan Moore-Dave Gibbons graphic novel. The Owlship, nicknamed Archie, will debut in the feature film, which is due to hit theaters in spring of 2009.

LOL! Preach it darkheart!!! Definitely post those pics!!! No surprise this looks perfect. This film is the next “big event†film for me! There’re plenty of movies I’ll see before then but now that TDK is out this is the one I’ll keep checking the clock for.

This looks amazing. The film looks just as good. I really hope this is the one that restores Alan Moore's faith in adaptations of his work. Zack Snyder is able to put his ego aside and bring the writer's work to life on screen, and most filmmakers have to put their own spin on things. That's what set films like 300, and Sin City apart. They actually stuck to the book.

Nothing will restore Alan Moore's faith in Hollywood. Doesn't matter how good or how perfectly something translates, the man is just weird. Not that he's not a genius writer. He's just weird. And that's fine. It works for him. Let him keep being weird and keep cranking out good material.

He is truly a weird cat fft. Brilliant! But one weird mutha. Not that there's anything wrong with being eccentric. I just saw an interview online with him where he totally trashed the movie 300. He hadn't seen it mind you, but actually hated the book so he felt it was perfectly sensible to trash Zach and the film. And he did it all while looking like Charles Manson on steroids!

I read somewhere what he does is specifically for comics and no other medium, so like fft said, nothing will change his mind. i read he eats children.

completely off subject but since you cats know a lot of stuff: i need to get a website to appear on search engines, google, yahoo, msn etc. for free :) besides of adding the url and waiting for them bitches to list the site, any suggestions?
