This Comic-Con pitch comes fromPatrick Neighly, the creator of "First Lady".
Q: Describe "FirstLady" and its lead character, Julia Platt, in two sentences or less.
Neighly:Sixteen-year-old Julia Platt wakes up to discover she is president of the UnitedStates. Something has gone terribly wrong with the computerized WOTAN electoralsystem following the previous president's shock suicide. Newly appointedleader of the free world, Julia finds herself next in line to die...
Q: If you were to compare"First Lady" to a movie, TV show (or movies or TV shows) what would itbe?
Neighly: "The WestWing" starring Lindsay Lohan as president of the United States. Toss in abit of John Grisham, "The X-Files" and "The Breakfast Club"and you're halfway there...
Q: Why do you think"First Lady" would translate to film/TV/animation?
Neighly: It's a uniquehigh concept with cross-marketing potential to all demographics.
Q: Why should movie folkscome by your Comic-Con booth?
Neighly: With"Subatomic" snapped up for television and interest brewing in severalother properties, we might well be out of available projects by the end of theweekend.
