Is it a lock that Disney is going to move its titles to Marvel?  I mean, it would seem to be a no-brainer, given that Disney owns Marvel, but I could see a rationale to not altering the nature of the Marvel brand by adding Mickey, Donald, Uncle Scrooge, the Muppets, etc. to it.

They say they aren't going to be ending any existing contracts, so for the time being I can't imagine Disney leaving BOOM!, but it seems a sound business move to publish their own books through the new publishing house, and imagine the cross-over possibilities... I just threw up a little bit in my mouth.

Suprised that Guardians Of The Galaxy  isn't in the top 10.

Nah, Incredible Hercules is in the list because it's going to be awesome, as usual.

I would also put Guardians of the Galaxy on he list.

But the big draw this week for me is New Mutants. Last issue was soooo good. I hadn't enjoyed these characters since B.L.D.M.F.B. (Before Liefeld Destroyed My Favorite Book). They brought my favorite character ever, Doug Ramsey, back from the dead and made it work. They also made me interested in the least anticipated crossover ever, Necrosha. It really did all of that... so bring on issue #7!

I have to say this.  I have been reading Amazing Spiderman lately, trying to get back into the character, but Marvel is killing me.  Here you have your Flagship Character in Spiderman, arguably your most popular character, and the artwork on the title is atrocious.  Yes, Yes,  I know story is more important, and they really have been doing a better job lately with that.  But I at least want to enjoy some of the pictures.  It really looks like the artwork is out of the late 70's early 80's.  C'mon Marvel,  you destroyed Spiderman with brand new day, and here you have the audacity to put this garbage out.....weekly no less.  Get a clue.

I also am starting to really not want to read Blackest night.  It is really juist getting tedious at this point.  I have stayed this long and will finish it out, but I hope iot is going somewhere and there will be some bang for the buck in the end.

If you get a chance pick up the New Tick Bi-monthly ongoing series.  I always enjoyed the Character.  I will also give Image united a shot.  Comic book news had a story and they were actually bragging that they were almost done and it should be out on time.  It reminds me of the early days of Image where you waited Months upon months for the next issue.

I also picked up Ms. Marvel for the Spidey story.  It seems like the two characters have a chemistry.   Fun seeing Spidey as the damsel in distress.
