 A few thoughts..

IF they cast Fillion as ant-man and show it in the post credits scene, I will explode! That would be sweet.

also, I don't think they will go the young route with casting of Ant-Man. Remember Dr. Selvig says he has a scientist friend that he wants to contact in Thor. Kevin Feige says in some commentary that it's suppose to be Ant-man. It just seems more believable that ant-man would be older and freinds with Selvig than a young scientist.

last thought. I don't think we will get a end credits scene. I HOPE we do, but Kevin Feige said they did shoot something but that it wasn't a "Scene", and that he's happy people are blowing it out of proportion. I just don't see any reason why he would lie. Sure he might be evasive, but why lie? I think it might just be a re-shoot.

Go read my previous post alienstatue, there IS an end credits scene...it's been confirmed, it's been showned already, some people have seen it already.

For some reason, I've never been a fan of heroes who can get small. I've never found the appeal. Or even growing into a giant never really impressed me either but it is far better than shrinking.

He could be up for Dr. Strange. I have read from more then one place that Strange is in the works for a near future Marvel movie. Strange would work better with someone who is around the same age a Downey. I know everyone keeps saying Ant-man, Ant-man, but they would probably get someone younger for Ant-man. If Fillion is up for a Marvel role I am betting its something else. Hell, he could even be appearing in Ironman 3 for all we know.

Fillion would be horribly miscast as Dr. Strange.  When Marvel Studios gets around to the Sorcerer Supreme, he will likely be a relatively unknown actor.  They cast relative unknown Chris Hemsworth as Thor not just because he had the right look and the acting chops to pull off the role, but also because they could get him cheap.  The same will likely hold true with the casting of Dr. Strange.  Someone good, but cheap.

You know, Fillion starts hitting the gym again and he is a perfect Pym.  I'm not a Firefly fanboy, but I'd say he looks like the part.  And, a lesser name doesn't matter...if we take a look at Thor.  Fillion is a superstar in comparison.

I have a feeling he will play Hank Pym in the post credit scene and the Ant-Man movie, but the protagonist in the Ant-Man movie will be Scott Lang, who will steal the Pym Particles for some 'noble' cause and at the end they will team up...

I think Fillion will become Yellowjacket or Giant Man for the Avengers sequel.

Aiden Gillan (Little Finger from Game of Thrones) would make a good Dr. Strange i think, or Guy Pearce

Would Jon Hamm be cheap? He's basically a tv guy right now but I think he has the looks and chops to be Dr.Strange, right around the right age too to pull off the role IMO.
