WOW! That Variety review of Punisher was BRUTAL! I can't decide if I want to skip it all together, of if I want to see a train wreck first hand. I don't remember ever reading a review of a comic based movie that absolutely shredded the film the way this one does. Talk about carnage...

WOW....that review of The Punisher is very bad....I refuse to believe that the movie stinks that much. True, we expect Frank Castle to be Frank Castle, but that review is just horrible. It's not for the squeemish...at least that's what the review is saying? 

Stevenson looks so much more like the Punisher than the previous 2 it isn't funny. I don't care about the bad reviews this is the Punisher based on Ennis' work. The guy cut someguy's stomach open and pulled out his intestines, it's supposed to be extremely bloody violent. If you want something else go see TDK again.

I don't like to read the reviews myself. For one thing they give out spoilers and I like to be surprised at what happens in a movie. Plus they are speaking their oppinion, maybe they had a bad day, don't like that style of film or actor/director/studio and will bash even a good film just for spite. I will be there to find out for myself and if it stinks then I won't get the DVD, if it rocks I'll get the special addition.
