"Shia and I talk all the time, and when I feel it's right, I'll show him the script."
That's what director D.J. Caruso told SCI FI Wire about his efforts to bring Brian K. Vaughn's beloved comics series 'Y: The Last Man' to the big screen. He added, "He's definitely interested."
LaBeouf is wrapping up his lead role in 'Transformers 2' and may be looking for a little time off Caruso also revealed. No wonder. The movie marks a marathon of high profile projects for the young actor. That shoot was further complicated when LaBeouf injured himself in a car accident last summer. A vacation may be in order.
Just as well. Caruso revealed to SCI FI Wire that the script is still in progress.
"We came up with some really cool things that would enhance act three and be close to what is happening in the series of books," Caruso said. "It was a groundbreaking idea. I know [the rewriting] is taking longer than I thought, but it's a really great project, and it's important that you focus on the story and get it right."

Can't wait to see more Spectacular Spider-Man.
Fun toon , could use a little better character design, with the best Spider-Man put on film so far.
The new Batman toon is just OK, IMO, that square Batman face annoys the hell out of me (see above) and it way to silly.
I have zero interest in the Spirit, nothing I have seen sofar has helped either.
