In a way that that's my main beef with the Red Hulk debacle right now.

What if instead of the red hulk they would've used the one and only true Hulk, back with the avengers, making amends, trying to change the bad perception he's been attached to all these years??

Why does this new red Hulk get the spotlighht (whom we all know the green one is stronger and can whoop his a$$ anyday) when a green one has been established for years and they are just giving the cool battles and Avengers status to the red Hulk instead of the green one...just makes me MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAD!!!

oops...sorry there...gotta watch that anger there.

And Daforce1, Civil War did have huge impact in the marvel U...so did House of M and secret Wars and Secret Invasion. I do agree that Fear Itself was horrible and badly written and had no impact but the other recent ones before that were great and had impacts.

 I'm skipping this entire storyline out of crossover fatigue.  I just need a rest from the "BIG" in comics.  I want to see some smaller storylines.  I miss Captain America being on the road by himself.  Or Daredevil handling the Kingpin and other local crime lords.  Or Iron Fist handling some Asian prophecy of doom by himself.  All of this "EVERYONE FIGHTS EVERYONE AND THEN TEAMS UP AGAINST EVERYONE ELSE" all for a reason that is overblown and with results that will be forgotten or retconned in less than 2 years... yeah, I'm over it.

I forgot to mention this in the article, but one of the cool elements of this story is how the #0 issue has paid off at the end of issue #6. In #0 we get two, seemingly unrelated stories. One about Hope, the other about the Scarlet Witch. At the end of issue #6 the Scarlet Witch shows up to take Hope away even though they've never met. They gave us a clue months ago, but we just didn't know it at the time.

@joelr...Yeah I had a funny feeling about the Scarlet Witch coming back since that #0 issue, and especially once Quicksilver got involved.

@everyone else...If you really like the Silver Age of comics when Cap was always fighting the Red Skull or Nazis...You can still find those comics in printed or digital form.  The big event/cross-over comics have been great in the past...House of M, Secret Invasion, Civil War were all really good and impacted the Marvel U in one way or another.  That being said...

I don't like the writing in many of the tie-ins or the art due to lack of continuity.  The one thing Uncanny X-Force and Rick Remender have done well is stay in-continuity with the characters that have their own solo series.  Deadpool loses his Healing Factor in Deadpool, he loses his Healing Factor in Uncanny X-Force.  I don't understand why comic to comic continuity is so hard to attain.  I also don't understand why Clayton Crain or Jerome Opena aren't doing any of the art in these series.  Sometimes you can listen to a song you've never heard before and know who the singer is because of the uniqueness of their voice.  I feel the same way about Comic Art, I know a Clayton Crain, Jerome Opena, and Steve Dillon piece of artwork without having to see their name on it, their style is unique.  The only Comics I have been able to re-read lately are the X-Force and Uncanny X-Force comics, it is truly some of the best writing and art collaborations I have seen in the past 4 or 5 years.
