I tried reading Fraction's work on Iron Man, but it was very convoluted & not particularly interesting.

Gillen has a fresh take on the character & has brought back much of the fun in comics. The diverse uses for extremis were cool & each story took only one issue. How often does that happen today?

Holy crap! They've brought back Death's Head?!?! That's the character that's in the last panel of this article, btw. One of my favorite esoteric Marvel characters that came from Great Britain in the 90's.

The new Iron Man series has been very interesting and has taken Tony to some interesting places.

I prefer an Iron man who still drinks though. Just a personal preference; dude looks great holding a martini.

Death's Head rules!

Good to see it's the original and not the dodgy second version...

@Spider You are right, the self contained, yet satisfying single issues are all too rare these days.

@DaForce/Buny That is indeed Death's Head, and it's very cool to see him agan, yes?

@Cyanide 451 does offer him some alien drinks!

Iron Man looks like Red Tornado in that first pic.

That makes you think.  I hope the suits at WB don't mandate that they use Red Tornado in the JL movie (if it ever gets made) just so they can say, "See, we have an Iron Man, too!"  Wouldn't put it past them, though.

Uh...what the fuck?  I clicked on "10 Ways Disney Could Save Star Wars" and I ended up here...what gives, Mania...get your crap together.

I really love the suit designs and robots in this current run but the art style falls apart when it comes to human facial expression. Something about it feels so off to me.   -Chuck
